Homeless
CDHC provides medical
and oral health services to the homeless individuals. CDHC provides nearly 80% of the health care to the homeless in Douglas County, Nebraska, averaging 6,000 patient visits per year.

Social Services
Patient advocates provide one-on-one case management and referrals to other community organizations,
Omaha Healthy Start
The mission of Omaha Healthy Start is to reduce infant mortality in North and Northeast Omaha by means of partnerships with families, community members and organizations through awareness, training and education.

Covering Kids
Covering Kids is a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation working to connect eligible uninsured children to low-cost or free health care coverage programs now available in every state.
Hiv/Aids Testing
Confidential HIV/AIDS testing and counseling is an outgrowth of the social services program.

Our mobile medical pediatric immunization efforts and other health care initiatives.

WIC Program
Nutrition counseling and education, the foundation for WIC, are available to pregnant and lactating women and children up to age 5. WIC services are provided at several satellite locations.
Optical Care
The optical clinic was opened in July 1996 with support from the Lions Club International Foundations. Staffed by volunteer optometrists, the optical clinic makes CDHC a one stop shop for health services.
Dental
We offer preventive dental services including x-rays, screenings, fillings, extractions, crowns and dentures.
Behavioral Health
Behavioral health counseling is available to individuals and families who suffer mental and emotional problems.
